Cancelling

Any clear statement that you want to cancel is enough.

The quick way

Open Settings → Billing in the app and cancel there; it takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for. Or email support@storybrdr.com from your account address and say you want to cancel. That's it.

What happens after

Nothing is deleted, ever. When the period you have paid for ends, the workspace goes read-only rather than dark. You can still open and read every project exactly as you left it, read the record of any shoot in On Set, and export a PDF of any board.

What stops is making new work: editing a board, uploading images, creating projects, recording anything on a shoot day, and every export format except PDF. Client links you have already sent stop opening, and comments pause in both directions, yours and your clients'.

There is no countdown and no grace period after which your work disappears. Subscribe again and everything, including the links you had already sent, comes back exactly as it was. If you would rather take your work with you first, a PDF export is always available, including after the subscription has ended.

Your 14-day right

If you are a consumer, you can cancel within 14 days of starting a paid subscription, for any reason. We refund what you paid, less a proportionate amount for the days you had the service, within 14 days of you telling us. The 30-day trial takes a card and becomes a paid subscription automatically when it ends, so cancelling matters: cancel any time during the trial, from Settings, then Billing, and you pay nothing at all. We email you a reminder before the trial ends. The details are in section 7 of the Terms.

The model cancellation form

The law asks us to provide this form. You are welcome to use it, and equally welcome to ignore it; a one-line email works just as well.
