Your first board in ten minutes
A board is just frames in order. Here is the fastest honest path from an empty project to something you can show someone.
1 · Create the project
Press New project, name it, add the client, and pick a frame ratio, 16:9 unless you know otherwise. You can also press Start from a script and paste one in, and the scenes are created for you.
2 · Get images in
- Add frame on any empty frame opens the picker: upload from your computer, pick from this project, or pick from everything you have ever uploaded.
- Drag files straight onto a frame from your desktop.
- The library pool under Scenes on the left: drag any thumbnail onto a scene.
Everything you upload is described automatically, so searching "sunset" later finds the sunsets.
3 · Rough in the shots
Click a frame and set shot size, angle, movement, lens and duration in the panel on the right. Do not polish. Placeholders, phone photos and napkin sketches are the point at this stage.
Rough is fine. Rough is the point. A finished-looking board that arrives late has already lost the argument.
