Fixing a scene the importer got wrong
Real scripts are messy, and sometimes the breakdown is not what you wanted.
Before you create the board
This is the easy moment. On the breakdown screen every scene card has an editable shot count, so a scene that should be six frames rather than two is a number you change before anything is made.
After the board exists
There is no automatic merge or split yet. What works today:
- Too many scenes. Drag the frames from one scene into the other, then delete the empty scene from its ⋯ menu.
- Too few. Add a scene, then drag the frames that belong to it across. Frame numbers update themselves as things move.
- Wrong name. Click the scene title and type over it.
Importing a second script into a project that already has one adds to it rather than replacing it, so revise the script before you import rather than after.
