Adding and reordering frames

Frames come from three places, and go wherever you drop them.

Adding

• + Add frame at the end of any scene opens the picker: Upload, This project, Everything. A frame that has no image yet has its own Add image, which opens the same picker for that frame.
• Drag a thumbnail from the library pool under Scenes straight onto a scene. The drop zone lights up amber.
• Send an image over from the moodboard with → Board, which asks which scene it belongs to.

Reordering

Drag a frame to a new position. Numbering updates automatically, everywhere: the board, the shot list, PDFs and client links. There is nothing to renumber by hand, ever.

Moving a frame between scenes? Drag it onto the other scene's section and it renumbers into place. On a touchscreen, use the frame's ⋯ menu, which can move a frame earlier or later without dragging.

Select several at once with ⌘ or Ctrl to toggle, and Shift to take a run. The whole selection drags together, and can be deleted or moved to another scene in one go.

A note on the files themselves

Uploads are re-encoded and stored as a high-quality version rather than your camera original, so keep your own masters. What happens to the images you upload explains what we keep.
