Annotating a frame

Select a frame and press Annotate… in the panel on the right. This marks up a picture that already exists. To draw a frame from nothing, see Drawing a frame from scratch.

The tools

• Sketch, freehand pencil for blocking and arrows drawn by hand.
• Arrow, drag from A to B and the head draws itself. The universal "camera moves this way".
• Box, a frame within the frame, for crops and insert shots.

Four inks: amber, white, red and blue. Undo is ⌘Z.

Saving

Annotations flatten onto a copy of the frame and show everywhere it appears: the board, the client page, Present mode and the PDF. Remove annotations restores the clean image at any time, and your original is never touched or lost.
